Plant-Based Eating

This page is an archive of the three different times I tracked my eating, over a specified period of time, so readers curious about a plant-based diet could see firsthand what it means. In short a plant-based diet means eating plants FIRST and everything else comes second. No meat, very, very minimal cheese and eggs (for instance, I won’t buy cheese for my home but if I’m at a restaurant and they accidentally put feta on my salad I’m not going to freak out and send it back). Minimally processed foods are consumed; I try to focus on consuming whole foods first. Little to no refined white sugar and refined white flour.

If you have any questions about how to get started on a plant-based diet yourself, just ask below in the comments! I’m always happy to answer questions. I’ve been a strict vegetarian since February of 1998, so I have some experience under my belt. 🙂

If you just want some more info, but aren’t sure if you are ready to start on a plant-based lifestyle yet, check out my: QUICK START GUIDE TO PLANT-BASED EATING.
