The Greens Go Green | Day 4

I really focused on eating more filling meals today, and as a result wasn’t full for dinner until very late. So much for the intermittent fasting today. 🙂 All in all it was a good food day, and I felt MUCH better today than yesterday. No headache and no un-relenting hunger! I think tomorrow will be my last day of tracking “The Greens Go Green”. I’m feeling really good, and this has definitely allowed us to reset a bit!

This morning we ran a quick mile then came home and did 3 rounds of weights, push-ups and pull-ups. It only takes about 15 minutes, but we plow through it, so it works a lot of the upper body, fast!

BREAKFAST: This was my same exact shake from yesterday, except I used ALL blueberries for my frozen berries. 433 calories, 54 g carbs, 16 g fat, 19 g protein, 29 g sugar, 13 g fiber

SNACK: This juice was HUGE, and it’s almost impossible to figure out exactly what is in each juice, so I did my best, but I’m sure it was more calories than this. 210 calories, 54 g carbs, 0 g fat, 3 g protein, 15 g sugar, 0 g fiber

LUNCH: HUGE salad 215 calories, 19 g carbs, 15 g fat, 4 g protein, 7 g sugar, 9 g fiber

SNACK 2: 150 calories, 39 g carbs, 0 g fat, 4 g protein, 24 g sugar, 14 g fiber — delicious!

DINNER: Chickpeas and some leftover lentils from last night, with steamed baby bok chop, onion and carrots. 278 calories, 47 g carbs, 4 g fat, 14 g protein, 7 g sugar, 13 g fiber

I thought I’d put in a photo of tonight’s sunset and the words of wisdom on my tea. 🙂 “Plant kindness and gather love.”

Short and sweet today, it’s been a long day and it’s late! P.S. I’m aware that some of my photos in the past few posts looks skewed or rotated the wrong way on a mobile device. I don’t know how on earth to fix it. It looks great on the desktop though! haha

  1. I’ve been on a zucchini noodle kick! I know you can get them all year round but I believe their best season is spring/summer!
I also love that I can get fresh, organic berries at this time of year! There are several months when they harder to get since they are out of season!
