Liver Detox Experience

I know it’s been a while since I posted, but I have SO much to share with you all I wasn’t sure where to start! Here is a quick and easy one (for me anyway), to share on our Liver Detox experience. All in all it was a good thing for us to do, and I’m sure we will do it again in the Fall. (We were told it’s good to do these in the Spring and Fall.) The only thing I’d like to add/share that won’t be in any of the below videos, is that afterwards — up to 4 days afterwards — Mr. Zucchini Runner and I were VERY TIRED. Getting back into our normal routine, and even healthy eating was hard! We felt very fatigued and hungry — uncontrollably hungry. So I’m not sure if that is a side effect of detoxing or if that was unique to us… either way, I’d LOVE to hear your personal experience! This blog was created as a way for people to learn and share, so we can all grow and change together! 🙂 Happy Monday and do feel free to ask any questions as well.

P.S. Mr. Zucchini Runner recognized how grumpy he was in part 2. 😉

That was a great video. I’m considering doing this. Did you have your liver enzymes checked before hand? It would be interesting to see how the levels changed. Thanks for posting.

    • I did have my liver enzymes checked recently, and they were ever so slightly elevated. But the doctor didn’t seem to think it was an area of concern. It would be interesting to get them tested again however! Maybe after the Fall cleanse. 🙂

Some of the looks on your faces are priceless! Mr. Zucchini, totally shut you down in part 2 while you were trying to get some sympathy! lol… thanks for sharing. But on liver cleansing, I’ll pass =).

    • hahaha, glad you found it entertaining! We were hoping capturing the real deal would be somewhat comical. 🙂 I was trying to get him to TALK, he wasn’t havin’ it. haha Thanks for watching!!

  3. Wow thanks for sharing the videos! I’ve always thought of doing a cleanse like this! I’ve done colonics before and I always feel like a million bucks after so this would really take it to the next level. I definitely feel that it’s important to detox the body every so often because of what it has been exposed to (processed foods, alcohol, environmental, etc). I would consider doing this with a buddy but I’m sure I could convince the hubby to do it lol.
